I'm trying to create a VM with a custom iso using a linux distribution called GuixSD (it's like NixOS but it uses Scheme for everything). They distribute their system image compressed, it's a .iso.xz file.
Instead of just pasting the link https://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/guix/guixsd-install-0.15.0.x86_64-linux.iso.xz
I have to download it, extract it with `xz -d`, rehost it and put in that link.
It would be nice if you could detect that it was a compressed iso and decompress it automatically. You can use dtrx https://brettcsmith.org/2007/dtrx/
