How long can I keep my snapshots?

May I keep my snapshots if I destroyed all my instances? How long can I keep them without any running instance? It is free?

    There is currently no expiration time for snapshots and yes they are free. Should this policy change in the future, do not worry - we would give you plenty of advance notice!
