Encryption at rest

The title says it all. Encryption at rest for disk images/instances would be a great feature addition.

  • You can perform your own encryption at rest using a custom OS install. Install your OS using a custom ISO, and use your distribution's encryption features. I use it on my CentOS instances. Only downside is that a reboot requires you to VNC into the machine to enter the disk's encryption passphrase (unless you use something like NBDE).
